How do you feel about another non-soccer athlete joining a prospective MLS ownership group? (Steve Nash of the NBA is the other.) Would you like to see a team go to St. Louis? Would they instantly become our most hated rivals? Share your thoughts below.

It would be awesome to have a St Louis MLS team. A natural, hated rival AND a short road trip.
ReplyDeleteWin-win!
Agreed!! Please oh please let it happen!
ReplyDeleteA St. Louis-KC rivalry would probably be the BEST in MLS.
ReplyDeleteSt. Louis has a long soccer history. It is past time they had a team. And wouldn't it be fun to see Taylor Twellman and Pat Noonan get to play in their hometown?
ReplyDeleteIt would also be a great rivalry for KC as well as Chicago -- It's Royals/Cards and Cubs/Cards all over.
Steve Nash investing in soccer makes sense. He played the sport and his brother is a pro still playing for the Whitecaps. I don't know what Albert's interest is, but it is also past time that those getting rich from sports gave back to sports by being owners.
Go St. Louis. Go KC. Go MLS.
It'd be a nice rivalry, but I still hate the crew ALOT
ReplyDeleteAll I want for Christmas is a St.Louis expansion team to hate and an announcement of construction on a stadium for a certain team on this side of the state!!!
ReplyDeleteBut if I wasn't good enough this year for both...please blow up Bannister soon.
A St. Louis-KC game would certainly be an easy sell for both sides....and Lord knows we need all the help we can get out here.
