The Don Gets Some Love/Davy Wins GOTW

Those of you who read The Offside Rules daily have already seen this, but The Don, our great commissioner Mr. Don Garber, was recognized by Time Magazine as the 14th-best sporting executive of the last year. Number 1? KU Athletics Director Lew Perkins. Read about them here.

Also, Davy's rocket from last Saturday beat out some pretty good goals from Ronnie O'Brien, Kenny Cooper, Steve Ralston and Carl Robinson to win the Sierra Mist Goal of the Week award. Davy is the first winner from the Wizards this year, and will put up a strong push for the Sierra Mist Goal of the Year award at year's end.
