Busy day so far in blogville! Trujillo is signed. Here are some YouTube clips of him that were posted some time back on Downthebyline. Check them out there if you haven't before.
Also, OzCitySoccer checked in with defender Aaron Hohlbein today in advance of AC Milan and Arsenal's big Champions' League (UEFA, not CONCACAF) tilt today at the San Siro. He is a big fan of both teams and offered his thoughts here. The game is live on ESPN 2 with coverage starting at 1:30 CT. Sneak away to a sports bar if possible.
One final tidbit. In reading our Google Analytics information regarding page views, visits and visitors (we're doing great, by the way; keep sending friends!) I found an alarming trend. Every state in the union (and several in some other unions) has sent a citizen or two to Hillcrest Road. Every state, that is, except Wyoming! Perhaps it's the relatively low population or the chilly winter weather that often precludes outdoor activities such as soccer. Either way, this is unacceptable. If you have friends or family in Wyoming, send them our way so we can complete our map of the United States. The first person to join from Wyoming and comment below gets a cyber cookie from the Wizards. Exciting, we know.

I'm not sure why we want a visit from Wyoming. It's not decent. Look at em... just sittin there... being Wyoming.
ReplyDeleteC'mon...Wyoming isn't that bad. After all, they have had visitors from another world (Close Encounters of the Third Kind/Devil's Tower reference). On second thought, maybe that's why they haven't sent a visitor....they were all abducted.
