Brandi Chastain Coming Saturday/Verano MLS

Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying your Thursday afternoon. It's a pretty one out there. If you are walking around KC and see one of those green "Ink" magazine dispensers, go ahead and pick one up and turn to page 73. Many of you have seen that former U.S. Women's National Team star Brandi Chastain is in town this week hosting some youth-soccer clinics. Well, Ms. Chastain will be at our match on Saturday signing autographs starting at 6 p.m.

Today was the Verano MLS media day out at Swope. Around 100 kids from all over the KC area were there to take part in the no-charge clinic. For the next month, assistants Kris Kelderman and Dave Tenney will lead the sessions from 1-3 p.m. on Field 3 at Swope. Today, Coach Onalfo and Roger Espinoza were on hand to help out.
