Busy Weekend Ahead

Our Juniors are still undefeated at Regionals, and we'll still be getting you more details soon. We're currently 3-0-3, and all three teams have the ability to move out of the group stage with the correct results today. Go get 'em, kids!

Fun day of soccer yesterday, as the U.S. wrapped up a 9-0 aggregate victory over Barbados and Spain broke two jinxes (vs Italy in major tournaments and penalty shootouts on June 22) to advance to the semifinals of Euro '08. What a tournament its been, with Turkey and Russia representing the surprise semifinalists. Germany, as always, has been solid in a major tournament and Spain stands two games from Euro glory for the second time.

This weekend will be a busy one in Kansas City, as we play Real Salt Lake on the same night as Red, White and Boom out at Sandstone (can I call it that again?) and the Royals host the Cardinals at the K. Don't forget about Selena Gomez if you've got kids who are fans of the Disney Channel. She'll be on hand to sign autographs before the match. Brandi Chastain is also in town this week and may make an appearance at the match. Bring out your friends for a fun night at CAB and The Legends.
