Hello from the FO. Just wanted to take a minute and let you all know about a new food initiative out at CAB. If you have a food allergy, or if your child has a food allergy, you know all too well how difficult it is to eat out of the house. Reading food labels becomes part of your everyday routine, and it darn near breaks your heart when your child can't have a treat with his or her friends at a ballgame. I know from personal experience, as my daughter has a severe dairy allergy that knocks ice cream, pizza, and many other treats off of her menu.
Working with our concessions partner, CenterPlate, the Wizards are pleased to announce that for all Wizards home games this season, we will vend allergy-sensitive food items at the British Isles concession stand. As with any allergy sensitivity, be sure to review the ingredients in detail before you order. The staff at the British Isles will be able to produce a menu for you, and answer any questions you may have about ingredients. The menu is as follows:
Turkey Corndogs – No Wheat, No Gluten, No Casein, No Milk, No Eggs, No Nuts, No Soy
Ice Cream Sandwich (Vanilla or Chocolate) – Lactose Free
French Toast Stick – No Wheat, No Gluten, No Casein, No Milk, No Eggs, No Nuts, No Soy
Popcorn Chicken Nuggets – No Wheat, No Gluten, No Casein, No Milk, No Eggs, No Nuts, No Soy
Ice Cream Bars – Lactose Free
Cinnamon Apple Doughnut – Gluten Free
Apple Cookies, Lemon Cookies, Chocolate Chip – Nut and Gluten Free
Crispy Rice Bars (Berry, Peanut Butter and Chocolate) – Gluten Free
Chocolate Banana Organic Bars – Gluten Free
Nanas Cookies (Chocolate / Banana) – No Gluten, No Eggs, No Dairy, No Refined Sugar
Chocolate Brownies – Gluten Free
Pretzels Salted – Wheat Free, Gluten Free
Pretzels Unsalted – Wheat Free, Dairy Free
Chocolate Syrup – Gluten Free, Peanut Free, Dairy Free, Sodium Free
For the record, my daughter loved the popcorn chicken nuggets.... Please let us know what you think. All comments are appreciated!
