Hey everyone, the guys practiced on Field 3 today and yesterday, getting ready for the FieldTurf surface at BMO Field. Check out some pictures from our friend Thad at his new blog here. I got crushed for this last week, but can I re-promise that the watch parties will be excellent? We had a mishap last weekend, but things are all squared away. Here's a blurb from the game-preview release sent earlier this morning:
Fans in Kansas City will have two great places to see the match, as Barley’s Brewhaus in Shawnee and O’Dowd’s Little Dublin at Zona Rosa. Each location will feature drink special, and Wizards staff will be on hand at each location with giveaway items that include: one jersey, one autographed team ball, mini soccer balls, posters and tickets. The Wizards next play a home match Saturday, June 14 against the Columbus Crew at 7 p.m. CT.
If this one goes poorly, I will stop pumping them up here at Hillcrest Road.
Hillcrest out.

Just wanted to say, how Awesome is it that the Wizards have a training facility that allows our boys to train on whatever playing surface they're facing for the upcoming match. I just thinks its great. 3 fields, 3 playing surfaces. That's world class professional stuff if you ask me.
