As we posted yesterday, five Wizards players (Jack Jewsbury, Ryan McMahen, Kurt Morsink, Michael Kraus and Jonathan Leathers) took on a group from St. Gabriel's Middle School. Our players could only use legal soccer touches, while those from St. Gabriel's played with standard volleyball rules. The Wizards won the best-of-three series two games to one. See some highlights and sound bites below, courtesy of Sean at MLSnet.
As you can see, the event was a lot of fun. The guys really showed off some soccer skills, and the crowd was very into it. If you're interested in a similar event at your school, church or other group, visit kcwizards.com here for more details. Tell all your friends. This was very fun to attend, and the guys truly had a blast.

So I'm guessing Ryan's ankle is healed? Looks like an entertaining event and a good way to get the youngsters interested in and impressed by soccer.
