Glad to get a point on the road, would have loved to put one in the net. Hartman records League-high 5th shutout of season and record 72nd of his career. Good chances early (Sealy twice) and late (Victorine's just-miss off Morsink pass, Leathers miss left from Victorine pass). Guevara scares us again (great save on that near-post blast, Kevin).
Though Hillcrest Road was unable to attend, the watch party up in Weston went well by all accounts. We'll get some more details to you soon (likely a Cotton post), but I heard the place was packed and the beer was good. Great to hear. So what's the name gonna be fans? Post some ideas you've had here in the comments section if you'd like.
The KCW Juniors did well today, going 2-0-1 in regional matches in Rockford, Illinois. U-16s earned 2-2 tie. U-17s won 6-1. U-19s won 1-0. Details on that coming soon. Well done lads!

Not the pretiest draw, and considering our chances I wish we would of got the win.. that been said the tie is a great point to take on the road against Toronto at BMO!! THe big game is next Saturday... a must win in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update of the Youth teams, keep us posted. Any prostpects in the U-19?
Also I wonder what will happen with this new roster spot now that Colombano is gone... any ideas
PS: Jewsbury in defense.... excellent move! Espinoza... not so much, not bad but not great.
i liked the defense put out there by Onalfo, it's a nice mix of youth and experience...now we just have to score some goals which might take a little longer to solve
