It Was a While Back But...

Remember all those many days ago when we had a home game? Well, one of those home games happened to coincide with another certain sporting event. Trying to accomodate our fans who enjoyed both events, we moved the game time around. There were several comments posted here and on Big Soccer and other places. Some favored our decision, and some were upset. Many opposed said this was "minor league." Well, folks, it certainly is not. The Boston Red Sox have moved the start time of two of their games to allow fans to make it home in time to watch the Celtics take on the Lakers later that night in LA. See the press release here and the story on MLB.com here.

Vamos Wizards! Let's beat Crew!

  1. Wow, Red Socks are so minor league.

  2. It's so perfect that it's the exact same scenario. Regional championship on the line and another market sports entity not forcing fans to make a choice - what a concept.

Secondly how much of a sports town is Boston these days. Between the Red Sox, the Patriots dynasty, the Revolution cup finals, and now the Celtics are back (playing the Lakers no doubt)
