Wizards vs Atlas Friday, July 11

One day after we face Red Bull New York in MLS action, the Wizards will be back at it against Mexican partner club Atlas AC at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Tickets are on sale now for the event. Atlas will arrive in America July 3, playing an exhibition match in Omaha, Nebraska on the campus of Creighton University that night. They'll then train at Swope park until facing us that Friday. During their stay, we will arrange meet-and-greet opportunities, and Atlas will be available to speak with the media. Specific training times will be available at a later date, and whether practices are open to the public will be announced then.

As you know, Atlas advanced to the quarterfinals of Copa Libertadores, the prestigious South American club championship. It should be a fun two nights out at CAB.
