 Wolff is Back

For those of you who haven't checked the website in the last hour and aren't on our press release list, forward Josh Wolff is back. Wolff returns to KC after spending the last couple seasons at 1860 Munich in the 2.Bundesliga. Wolff, 31, played 80 games with the Wizards from 2003-2006, scoring 27 goals (T-5th in Wizards history) and tallying 20 assists (7th in Wizards history). Wolff currently has 52 caps and 9 goals for the U.S. National Team.


Glad to see Wolff back? Where do you see him fitting into the squad?

    Honestly? I'm not overly pumped. He hasn't done much in the last two years and he's older. He wasn't playing forward in Germany either. Having said that, we are so thin up top, he has to be an improvement.

    I hope he does well...and I hope the Wizards add another forward or bally carrying midfielder soon.

    Honestly? You'd have a better chance of singing Selena Gomez for more goal output. Make me eat my words wolffy.

    Throwing him into the attack wouldn't hurt. Maybe he might actually be able to aim a shot at the goal.

    Glad to see Josh back. He'll bring in another attacking presence, his passing/crossing will be a plus, and hopefully it will put some pressure on Sealy to finish his chances or loss his starting job.

    Wolff will not be eligible for selection until the July 15 transfer window opens.

    Wolff might not have been the ideal player we were looking for positionally, but we will be a better team with him here. Teams will have to watch both he and Lopez.

    hopefully he can score 4 or 5 in the second half of the season and we can trade him along with sealey for a target forward. Josh is a good player, but more of the same.

    Will there be a full release of the details of his contracts ie. his pay. I was under the impression he was asking for WAY TOO MUCH money.

    I hope this was not a desperate move, but all signs point to yes.

    MLS and its teams do not disclose salary information. When that has become available in the past, the players' union has done so.
