Champions League RecapMany members of the front office (including Greg Cotton, David Ficklin, Dustin Johnson and yours truly) were happy to see Man U prevail. Others (notably Chris Wyche) were saddened by the result. Still others (Chad Reynolds) were wishing Liverpool were still alive. Sorry Chad.
Hopefully everyone at the watch parties had a good time. We've heard back here at the ranch that the events went well. Hopefully those of you who were already Wizards fans enjoyed the mid-day, mid-week soccer viewing and those of you who enjoyed the soccer but weren't previously fans are considering coming out to a match. You should. It's a good time.

It was fantastic to see some of our players and hear them talk about the game.
I would like to see watch oparties like this for the Olympics and/or World Cup qualifyers. If necessary tape the games and show them that night. We had a good time at Hanna's in 2002 doing that.
