 KCW Reserves Unbeaten

Yesterday, our reserve team topped New York's 2-1 on a late goal from recently signed Nelson Pizarro. We are now 3-0-2 in MLS Reserve Division play, tops in the league.

Eloy Colombano opened the scoring in the 38th minute, taking a pass from Aaron Hohlbein near the top of the 18 and curling a right-footed shot into the top corner at the back post for his second Reserve Division goal of the year.

New York equalized in the 72nd on a penalty kick from John Wolyniec before Pizarro's winner. Morsink received a switch on the left flank and curled in a cross right into the path of Pizarro who nodded it down past Zach Thornton for the winner. Pizarro now leads the reserves with two goals and two assists, including one game-winning goal and one game-winning assist.
