Xbox is tomorrow's game sponsor, and they will be providing 5,000 sets of thundersticks to fans who want them. We thought we'd give you heads up so you could get amped for the experience, if that's your sort of thing, or so you could bring ear plugs, if that's not your sort of thing. Either way, get ready for a loud atmosphere in tomorrow's VERY important match (7 p.m. CT against New England Revolution at CommunityAmerica Ballpark) for the 2008 MLS Cup Playoff picture. I guess we should say thanks to New York and Real Salt Lake last night for tying, though an RSL win probably would have been a little better for the standings.
On that note, how about Rio Tinto? Didn't that place look sharp on TV? The more soccer-centric stadiums, the better!
Speaking of soccer-centric stadiums...
ReplyDeleteRSL's stadium looked nice, but other than the slight curve to the roof, looked like PHP or Bridgeview on TV.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the Wizards stadium will look more like a unique place to watch a game than a standard seating bowl with concrete walls and a non-functional roof.
