Speaking of Goals of 2008/Conrad and Lopez up for Awards

So just after the YouTube clip comes the start of official Sierra Mist Goal of the Year award voting. Number one and two from the previous clip are on the ballots for the award, which will face some stiff competition from flukey goals like Danny Cepero's goalkeeper tally and that David Beckham guy's long-range bomb into the open net against us in the dying seconds of our game out in LA. Resist the urge to vote for one of these and help get another Wizard into the upper echelons of Goal of the Year lore like Zavagnin's top 5 tally from last season.

Also note that captain Kansas City and El Piojo are up for Defender of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, respectively. Conrad is up against Chad Marshall from Columbus and Bakary Soumare from Chicago. Lopez goes up against Darren Huckerby from San Jose and Andre Rocha from Dallas.
