Currently, we are gearing up for the season and working on introducing new programs to the Kansas City community. We are finishing up the details of a math program that we would like to integrate into schools all over the Metro. So make sure your child’s classroom gets signed up.
Recently, Kevin Hartman joined Dwayne De Rosario, Diego Gutierrez, and Jose Luis Burciaga in Orlando, Florida for an MLS WORKS event fundraiser for their Nothing But Nets campaign, which works to prevent the spread of malaria by sending bed nets to countries affected by the disease. This event brought over 6,000 budding soccer stars to Disney’s Wide World of Sports to compete in the Kick It 3v3 World Championship and to watch the players put on a skills demo. They spoke to the crowd, letting them know that everyone can make a difference. Here is a picture from the event. Doesn’t Kevin represent KC so well!
I'm interested in hearing more about the math program - for example, will you be looking for tutors for the program, or are just planning to finally put Jimmy's Math degree to use?
ReplyDeleteholy hell, that's Hartman?!!?! How many pounds has he dropped?
ReplyDeleteSierra Mist?
ReplyDeleteIs that the new KCW jersey?
Nope, it's last years all star jersey, check the logo.
ReplyDeletewhy is he wearing last years all star jersey when everyone else is wearing their new kits?
ReplyDeleteCheck the logo? I tried to zoom but I wasn't sure what it was.
like all the former wizards managing other teams in the league, 3 out of the 4 players featured here have serious kc connections.... which further illustrates our awesomeness and how much awesomer we are than everyone else.
ReplyDeleteErin Lawless? are you the former Purdue hoops star?
