Well, last Saturday's game was great, but we're already looking ahead to the upcoming game with San Jose. Saturday will be our fan appreciation night. Immediately after the match will be a 12-minute fireworks display, followed by an on-field autograph signing session with the entire team. We will also recognize Kerry Zavagnin at some point in the night for his great service to the team over the last nine years.
We will offer $3 beers throughout the match at the concessions stands, so keep the libations flowing after you get inside the stadium and help provide a crazy atmosphere as we push toward the MLS Cup Playoffs.
If the season ended today, we'd be in as the 1st wild card team. We hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the New York Red Bulls, so if we end equal on points with them, we get the higher seed. Currently we would play the Columbus Crew, while NY would switch over to the West and play Houston Dynamo.
For some fun reading, check out Kyle McCarthy's column over at Goal.com. He spoke with MLS's most wanted man, Peter Vermes, Saturday before the game and relays the information here.

cheaper beer is great, but is it going to be the same size as the normal priced beer? half the price is only good if it's not half the size too.
ReplyDeletewhat's crazy about our society is that $3 beers at a stadium is seen as a great deal when that's the standard price at any bar. it just shows how big of a price gouger these entertainment venues are.
With beerfest at the Legends, there are going to be some drunker than usual people driving the streets of KCK........cheap beer = bad idea.
