Happy Hump Day

Has it been a long week already? No? Good, because now the fun starts. Practice was indoors today and will be again tomorrow at KC Sports Lodge. Today was an intense practice. The guys got after it and each other in preparation for the season, and it was exciting to see the intensity with which everyone played. Even coach, who filled in on the pitch at one point, was sharp on the ball and celebrating hard after his team's goals.

Forgot to fill you guys in last night: Midfielder Sasha Victorine is now a daddy. Daughter Halia Sivan Victorine was born Friday at 19" long and 7 lbs 6 oz. Congrats to Sasha and wife Melissa. Sasha reports that being a dad is fun so far and that sleeping is a little harder to come by than in the old days.

Remember, tomorrow night at McFadden's starting at 7:30 is the Starting 11 Girls tryout. Jenny Matthews of Mix will be there spearheading the evening. We look forward to a great squad again this year.
