Wizards Beer Update

Hey there, just got an update from Exec VP Greg Cotton on the Wizards-specific beer that the fine folks of Weston Brewing Company have helped us create. Cotton and Experience Development guru (read: dude that makes sure fans have fun at the stadium and at our events) Adam Meloan went up to meet with the WBC peoples last week with good results. The yet-to-be-named Wizards Ale has been a hit at their pub in Weston. Everyone has loved it, and they've already gone through about 600 gallons of the stuff.

The beer (once named, of course) is scheduled to be available at retailers this fall, possibly before the end of the season. Current plans call for a percentage of the proceeds on each sale to go to Kansas City Soccer Foundation. Wouldn't that be neat? I know what kind of beer I'll be serving at my next get together!
